I am not really a poster on facebook, but I have had it. I vented and feel a little better, but know very little will come if it.
For the country to move forward we need cooperation of all Politicians. This includes the President, Congress, Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, Greens and others.
All the slandering of others and following personal agendas is not the way to a successful country. These are selfish traits we try to correct in our children; yet we accept it from the leaders of our Country? Where are OUR values? The advertising is created to target the voting public, in the same fashion as we get movies and television programming. With all the money wasted on campaigning you would think we would demand better advertising emulating our core values and morals. Is this really what we have become as individuals? It saddens me to think that our troops are fighting and giving their lives as we promote poor values, morals and selfishness in our politicians. We can’t really complain about the political injustices when we allow and promote their bad behavior.
The politicians need to look at our enlisted soldiers and their selflessness, cooperation and all that they put on the line for the love and safety of our country.
If all the politicians over time would have showed even half of the soldiers patriotism for our country, I do not believe the USA would be in the mess it is at this point.
We need to find a way to enforce the core values and morals in our politicians that we expect in our children. If they can’t align to what we the people require and demand, then they are not the individuals that we need or want in office!
Again, I look forward to seeing what our investment will return us over the next four years.
