Well the project at work is getting close to the end. Finally!
I spent the evening working on the financing for the farm. It looks good. We should have all the monies in place for the closing.
Month: September 2010
Thumbs
Spent day creating thumbs of the photos so they load quicker. I uploaded them and finally finished.
In between I sat outside (hot and bored) for a little while.
Oh yea. I contacted a friend from the military back in the 80’s.
Facts that are funny and weird.
Both named Mike
Both born a day a part May 26, 1967 and May 27, 1967
Both enlisted for two years at the same time.
Both had basic, AIT Home Town Recruit.
Both stationed at Ft McClellan Al.
Both still living. #:-S
Both married and happy. <:-P
We should have played the lotto!
Anyway. It was a fair day. Of course mostly due to dreading tomorrow and work.
Quiet day
I had a quiet day. Susan went to a friends house for the afternoon. I helped the parents with one of their computers.
I worked a little on some photos creating thumbs for quicker viewing and then uploading them to storage.
We watched a few recorded shows and now we are calling it a day.
Not a big deal
Went to work and nothing really took place. I guess the highlight is I earned comp time. Looking forward to having a day off.
Realize
I really need to realize that when things go wrong that they are not always my fault or my responsibility. The deployment is going good considering the restraints that have been placed on us. The options we have are being limited and I am not really sure that it is justified. We probably would have been don if we deployed with one of the options we suggested, but people seem to think that we will some how have 100% success and that is just not realistic!
Anyway I took time to backup the photos and do a little clean up on the computer here at home.
Just going to check in on the folks and then head to bed.
Looks like I have been heading to bed a little early since I have not been sleeping as good with the schedule change.
I need to go to work tomorrow although it is my flex. This is due to possible issues with the deployments.
