The weekend really has not been too interesting. The highlight is that the utility pole is in and curing. We went to the ranch Friday night. The On Call Phone is a pain in the ASS! We had some troubles getting the hole dug deeper and that was the work delay. The On Call Phone was the other delay.
We have the tow old recliners out at the ranch. This finally concludes the attics in Bastrop are officially empty!
Cleaned up the yard a little. Steve and Devona cleaned a lot with the tractor when they dug the hole.
Wasted a lot of time looking for a way to dig another foot in a 6′ X 3.5 foot hole. The On Call Phone was the other waste of my time. I finally made the correct tool on Sunday morning and finished digging out the last foot.
The Kitchen light is now functional and the old window heat pump has been removed. The On Call Phone was a pain in the ass all weekend!
I will go next Friday to install the parts on the utility pole.
That about wraps it up.
Oh, did I mention that the On Call phone sucks! I am glad the month ends this week.

We ended up going to Rockdale looking for a 6″ auger. Not too impressed other than it is 5 miles (10 round trip) closer than Taylor. We will probably always go to Taylor, might hit Rockdale for a restaurant , but that is about it. Then we came back to Bastrop to hit Home depot. We did not find one there either. We are picking up the second recliner and will have the pair at the ranch.
Time to head back out the ranch, hope I figure out a functional scoop for the hole.

I realized the team was not kidding when they said that I do not work Fridays. I looked a the calendar and I do take off a lot of the few Fridays I am scheduled to work. I looked into November and I may work the 12th and that is it. I do like Fridays off. 🙂
Email arrived today and the previous owner said they are putting a check in the mail today. Just for grins I questions the missing cabinet doors. I wonder how she will respond.

I got the water bill for the ranch and just about shit! After talking with the company it turns out that the new meter owner is responsible for any unpaid debt. I though that was what the title company charged all the money for? Well it turns out that there is $108.53 due on the two meters. I contacted the previous owners to see how they want to handle this.

Yep! Same thing different day!
