Ditto on yesterday.

She is ready, but her body is not. She no voice and is sleeping more. she is still alert when awake, but really tired. It has been 5 weeks without food and 3 days without water. The nights are long and the days fell long not also. Just waiting…

the day is going but going slow. Mom, Susan and I were the only ones around for a spell so I was able to spend some personal time with her and talk to her Her voice is all but gone, just a faint whisper you must really listen for. She still has energy to move the blankets up and down as she gets warm and cold. She naps with her mouth open and is usually unable to get real comfortable. We are on the third day without fluid intake. It will be sooner than later. I am happy for her and glad I was able to let her know how much she means to us and that she will be missed.

Sat near till 10PM. Went to bed since Clara was staying by the bed. I was only able to stay out of the room till midnight and had to get up and sit on the couch to be closer to her. Nodded in and out so I must have go 3 hours or so. Her breathing is quiet while she is awake but rough and labored when sleeping. She is still able to pull onto her side. She has been without water for 48 hours now. She is still alert and able to tell you her opinion although it does take much energy.

I was able to talk with Mom alone and told her everything I wanted to. I am thankful I was given the time. She stopped drinking yesterday and is her second day without liquids. It is hard on her and on us. I believe that she is ready, but her body just is not yet.
