I talked with my wife last night and she is so stressed out. She stated that taking care of her mother is the easiest thing going on up there. I know it must be tough when your job and immediate family is so far away, but I have been told not come up yet since the end may not be that near. Some people are so petty and childish. I am amazed at how some people can be looking at the situation for personal gain when the end of a precious life is coming so quickly. You would think that all the energy, thoughts and actions would be at keeping mom comfortable and happy in her last days. It sounds like not all the family members have mom as the main focus. Focus people! Let her know you care! Let her know you are thankful for everything has done for you to include give you life! Again I want to say I will miss this woman, with her heart of gold. I never really saw her be negative or cruel to anyone in the last 17 years that I have known her (OK maybe I am forgetting something, but I do not think so). I hope and wish for a most comfortable/peaceful (in her sleep) death possible for her. Mom, we WILL miss you, continue thinking and talking about you, to keep you alive in our hears and minds.
