Tammy Maria (Billingsley) Tabor passed peacefully in her sleep at her parents' house on Saturday December 6th in San Antonio. She was a devoted, loving, caring, wife, sister, daughter, Aunt, and friend. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband Eric Tabor Bastrop, Brothers James Billingsley Ringold, Georgia and Billy Billingsley San Antonio, sister Ann Sander Tullahoma, Tennessee, parents Maria and Earl Billingsley San Antonio, many nieces, nephews and friends. Tammy was born in Ft. Lee, Virginia, on June 20th 1962. She grew up in San Antonio, Texas. Graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1980, and went on to get her Bachelor of Business and Computer Science from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. She moved to Austin and worked for the State of Texas at the Attorney General's office Department of Health and Human Services and the Park and Wildlife Department. During which time she met her husband Eric Tabor. They were married on April 7, 1999 and lived in Bastrop where Tammy retired from Park and Wildlife. There will be no public service. Tammy didn't want anyone to be sad at her passing but instead celebrate her life at the beach which she loved so much. The next time you're at the beach raise a toast or have a happy memory of her and know she is always with us.

I was just informed of Tammy's passing today also.

May you RIP.
