Had a good day. Stared by finding Moody Gardens. After arriving we walked and took some pictures of the landscaping. Then we went to the beach area and checked it out. Not huge but looks like it will be fun tomorrow.
Well, after checking out the beach, breakfast was needed so we found a place. We decided that we will get breakfast there again tomorrow. It was good food and the prices comparable or cheaper than expected. A plateful size burrito was $4, how is that!
We then headed back to Moody we arrived about 10:30. Our first event was the.aquarium pyramid, that lasted an hour to an hour and a half.
We were not sure what to do to make the 1 PM paddle boat ride, so we milled along and arrived at the boat a little early. It was a slow circle around the canal, but it was relaxing. Not exciting enough to go again however.
Next was the first show, a bug adventure. We were informed that we still needed a ticket even though we had the day pass. This would have been helpful information when I was asking questions about the shows in the beginning. As I had bug adventure on my day pass thy let us in. Again ok, not worth a second viewing.
As the show started at 2:35 PM it ended at 3:15. I quickly went to get the ticket I was just informed ï needed for the next show an I was told they were sold out! What! If I knew I needed them I would have got all of them upon arrival. We will be getting all the required tickets in the mornong tomorrow. I was only able to get the tickets for that day, so all I could get was the 5:20 Apes show ticket.
We went to the bones discovery, it was 5 or 10 minutes only as it was geared towards children. This left us to mill around and sit out looking at the water.
We should have got in line for the show , but it seemed too early. Well maybe it wasn’t as when we went back in the line was łoonngggg. This show was the same as is showing at the theatres, we both enjoyed the show. It ended at 7PM. Then we headed back to our hotel.
