The work day was slow at times. I could not wait for it to end. This evening I worked training Freckles. We played Fetch. She is getting the hang of it. She really is a smart dog. Then I decided to continue the game I started last night. Just quit and I need to get to bed. I am not use to getting only 4-5 hours of sleep in a night anymore. I am looking forward to having Friday off. 😉

Video game night that is. I thought about it at about 9PM and just stopped since I need to get some sleep for work tomorrow. A little Battlefield BC2 although slow on my system it is still acceptable. I wonder how it would play on a good system. 🙂 I think I should start playing a little earlier tomorrow to get some good game play in. See you tomorrow. :-

Who can complain about an extra day off. We went to lunch at Cindy’s Downtown. It was ok. We will try it again another day to see if it is any better.

I did the research for the dehumidifier to put in moms basement. Found one and am having it shipped to the folks. They will put it in the basement and set the drain hose so it does not need to be emptied.

Removed the old (broken flywheel) ceiling fan in the spare bedroom and installed a new one. It is gold instead of antique.

I know that does not account for entire day, but it is the highlights.

It would have been Virginia’s (Susan’s Mom) birthday today. Things were rather quiet. Picked up some edging to install near the back of the yard. I made a jar of sweet hot relish form some pickled peppers, pickles and an onion. It turned out pretty good. I also made a loaf of pepper bread. Ok it was just white bread as I forgot to put the peppers in. 😕 Ok maybe I should have paid a little more attention instead of running in and out of the house. 🙂

We went to Westside Kia in Katy. It took about 2 hours to get there. We bought the car at about $1000 under invoice. I will post some pictures next weekend. We stopped at a BBQ place in Columbus, it was pretty good. Other than that we did not do all that much.
