Well things have not improved. I spent most of the evening with the
cat. He is Licking lips, Increased thirst, Drooling, Dehydration,
Hunching over the water bowl, Constipation, Loss of appetite, Weight
loss, Muscle wasting, Halitosis (ammonia smell) , Lethargy, Weakness,
Depression , but luckily no pain. It appears to be feline CRF (kidney
failure) It has come on in a matter of days. Could have been longer,
but being a indoor/ outdoor cat makes it difficult to identify. He was
fine over the weekend although we had noticed a loss of weight over
time, along with increased drinking and urination. It probably started
as diabetes and was overlooked and now has taken its toll. Other than
that he could have been poisoned since he is in and out doors. I will
miss the little bugger. He may have been a pain in the ass at times,
but not anymore then the rest of the cats or ever dogs for that matter.
Firecracker, you will be missed….

Love
In the last 15 minutes I witnessed another true act of love. It is so nice to see that true love still exists. My neighbor’s wife, who works evenings the same as my wife, Called my wife to have me check up on her husband. You may think this is paranoia at first, but it was because she is concerned for his safety. She lives in town during the week and has been unable to reach him on the phone. I went next door and started worrying when he did not answer the doorbell I rang 4 times. Then I started banging on the door and a sleepily older gentlemen answered the door wondering what was wrong. 😳 I filled him in on the phone call, only to find his cell phones died and are being charged. Again technology is good and it also can be bad. A regular land line probably would have solved this. Unfortunately land lines seem to be primarily for advertising through telemarketers and I believe that is why less people are keeping them when they have two cell phones. In the last 10 years we had one for the 6 months and it was normally telemarketers or wrong number, so why pay money each month for that! Anyway it was really nice to have received the phone call, as I would hope my wife would have done the same. :8)
