I can honestly say I know why I am here in the south! The recent weather here has not been normal and has been rather cold. The rain, wind and cold today reminded me why I am down here. I arrived home from work and had to check on the doors that were hung. Then I had to turn off the water line and open the valve to drain a little water out. I am sure I did not drain enough, but at least it will not spray everywhere if it does freeze.
Anyway taking care of the water line and then grabbing the UPS delivery was enough time for my hands to stop functioning which is only phase 1. I came in and the pain sucked reminding me why I would have a dreadfully difficult time living in the northern US.
The temps are back down around freezing so I wonder how the trip to work will be tomorrow.
