What an interesting day. Thank goodness that I did not have to work at the office.
With everything that has started I don't where to begin.
Susan had jury duty at 1P today, so she needed to look up the Cameron court house. It is about 40 minutes away. I do not feel that 6 dollars cover fuel it takes for a person to attend. I guess it is the price you pay along with higher taxes for being a good citizen. Think about it! Who is allowed to serve on jury duty? 🙂 LOL
OK, enough on that.
I realized late last night that I need school transcripts for the job application as our burnt up. The job closes today and I have no clue on what to do. Back to this a little later.
I also received the invoice from the builder last night and tis could be the last one if the cabinet install is included. Well it wasn't so I texted and emailed him to add it. He did and I received the revised invoice. This morning I put together the last draw for monies from the bank and sent it off asking if we can close out the building loan and start the real loan. They are working on that, hopefully!
I then went back to working on the job app and the request of my transcripts. I pulled up the job and found that the closing date 'was extended from today the 28th to the 4th. This is good I thought, as it allowes me more time to get the transcripts. I pulled up Google and looked up how to get the transcripts. The new process is rather simple and the cost is $8 and they will mail them to you. Then as I continued reading I found that they can be emailed for an extra $.75. Of course I will shell out an extra $.75 cents to get them quicker. So I processed the order and figured it would be a day or so. Nope less than an hour later the PDF download was ready for me. Of course the paper copies will be here in a few days, but getting some of this off my plate will be nice.
I then received a call from Lowes about the deliver of the cabinets. I told them I do not recommend the coming out due to the rrecent rain. Maybe Friday or next Friday
As Susan prepared to leave the power guys arrived, but it looks like they did not stay do to the wet ground either.
Since I felt a feeling of accomplishment from the initiation of closing the loan to submitting the application for the job I decided to relax the rest of the day. I vacuumed the apt and then I cleaned the kitchen where the traces of mouse were present.
Now I sit plan what to do next. 🙂
