Vultures

Well on the way home yesterday, Susan noticed a vulture. We got out and looked and were surprised that four wild hog-lets were killed and left in the slew. What a waste! They would have smoked up REAL nice. We are sure someone killed them. It is understandable, but please do not waste the meat!!

cut the fence

I received a text from the builder about noon. The day was going and I was kinda busy. He mentioned that they need to cut the fence to get a bigger truck in to speed the delivery of fill. First they were going to cut the new fence, although I can’t imagine where. Then it was cut the fence toward the road which Jeff and I both suggested. Then Susan and I headed home at 1230 to make sure it was under control. We got another text that we should remove it from the gate post. Brilliant.
We arrived home just before 2 and modified the fence ourselves. I sent a text to Jeff and let him know the fence was opened up.
We then received on and of rain so they did not return. They will return in the morning.
Hope they start making some noticeable headway.

Three

I have three strands of barb wire strung and will run the last three tomorrow. If I have time I will cut and weld the cross bars.

I did not start on the fence until two as I needed to fix the mower and mow first.

So the grass is done, I built a wire dispenser and ran two lines of wire.
I had to play with a cow while running line two as she was still able to cross between the pastures, now she cannot.

I took a shower and am resting before bed.
