Weekend is over and tomorrow is the last day off. 🙁 Back to work on Tuesday.

We are hoping for a disaster free year. We would make it a resolution, but it is something out of our control.

2011 September – lost house in forest fire.
2010 June – lost Bean to old age.
2010 April – lost Virginia to cancer
2010 February – lost cracker to organ failure.
2009 July – lost Truman to old age.
2008 June – lost Ally (to coyotes we think).
2008 February – lost Inky (to coyotes we think).
2007 April – demoted from management with no real explanation.

Are things destined to be based on other decisions? In 2006 we decided to stay in the Bastrop house so we would start living. We then finally put extra time in to the property. We added the patio, built the pond and started working on other things. Is this where it started? Was this the ignition? Does the rule of seven appurtenances like it does for drought? I am curious to see what December 2012 will deliver!
