I took the time to apply for the Network Specialist Position today. I am not 100% sure I am interested as there is little personal interaction with others. It will be like the web master position years ago. Just me and the computer, JOY? I will see if they are interested in me and then make a decision. It does have Pros and few cons to taking it. I think that they had someone else in mind from the rumors or conversations I have had with people in the area.
I talked with Minolia and the mice were back last night. I think I will need to go there on Friday, not only to install the grab bars and toilet but also to see what I can do about the mice.

It was a nice day at work. It was a GREAT change of pace from the last week. 🙂
I was able to get the win 7 project plan put together and a few other things started.
I sure was glad I looked out at the postings! I found the network specialist out there. It opened on the 2nd and will already close on the the 8th. Hmmmm…….
I will apply for it tomorrow. The last position they would not do a finance adjustment so I had to turn them down as it was considerably less.
Time to go spend some time with Susan. 🙂

I did relax the rest of the day yesterday. 🙂
I went to the ranch today. I blocked the hole 18″X18″ under the sink and finished filling the rest of the cracks that the mice might get in. Then I setup the remote and fav list to only show the channels she has. I put the rest of her stuff inside in the upstairs spare room. I made it home by 430PM. I look hope to make more time for Susan and myself this week.

Well, the day as been quiet so far (except for the neighbors). I looked over the bills and everything looks like it will fine. I looked into the rental rates for the Ranch area and they are low compared to the others. (especially with all appliances and utilities included)
I called checking on Minolia and there were no mice again today. Filing the gaps, the warmer temps and maybe her electronic pest device seems to have made a difference. Monday and Tuesday we will know better as the temps will be colder.
I think I will try to just relax the rest of the day! We will see how that goes.

Spent the day at Minolia’s today. we have her just about in. The base molding in the living room and Kitchen area are done. I still need to do the bedroom, closet and two baths.
The dish network has been installed and the internet may go in next week if the testing pans out.
We unpacked almost all the books and brought in the dvds and videos. There is only holiday stuff in the storage at this time. I think we will put in up stairs for now to get it out of the storage area. She has 800 sqf on the main level and this will give her another 200.
I got home about 530 PM which made it long like a normal work day.
Just did a quick look at the bills and will need to look them over tomorrow.
going to go watch a recorded show.
