Well since the heat of summer is on its way, I decided to invest in another game to occupy some of my indoor activity time. Picked up Battlefield Bad Company 2. Nice so far. I am limiting my remapping of keys to get familiar with the standard instead of the entire custom key I use to use. It is going ok. This sure makes time fly and take your mind off everything else. I forgot how engrossed you get in it. Boom! 4 hours later you realize you have been on for more than a few minutes. Dog training is going slow but good. We are working on Down, Sit and bar to go out. I will need to get out the formal training to make sure we cover everything, but for now just trying to train and bond. Freckles is not a bad dog, just got her at a bad time.

Yesterday was alright but just a little off. In the evening it was a little more noticeable. It was even evident during the night. Of course I know what it is, and I know it will get better. During the day it was in my mind. In the evening it was the things that were lacking At night it was breathing that was missing. It is wrenching on the heart! As the days pass so will the pain. It will all become normal as the rut of life changes. It is good to know that as long as memories remain in my mind she will remain in heart.
