Last day of the sale. It did not help it was Sunday and mothers day. We had about 150 people each day on Friday and Saturday, But only 30 today. It was sunny and we were finally able to put the furniture out side. The wind was cold making the 50 degrees feel colder but all in all it should have been a good sale day. Well it wasn’t! We thought that people might show up after church, but they did not. Then we thought they would after a mother’s day lunch, but they did not. After putting all the stuff away we decided not to deal with it anymore. We will go pack up and deliver the rest to charity tomorrow! At least the entire sale thing is done. Still on target to leave on Friday.

Up early and opened the estate sale. Another long day. Not much rain, but cold and cloudy. Hopefully tomorrow is better. Will play a round of cards and then just go to bed. Sure have been tired this week.

What the heck! It never got out of the 40’s today and it rained off and on. I was cold and miserable it was slow for the first day of the sale. It appeared in the paper today so tomorrow should be better, although it will be cold again. Glad we close at 3 PM each day!

I was finally received my FMLA paperwork, it is dated April 22nd. I wonder what took so long. Maybe it was courtesy as Virginia died on the 26th. All the Estate sale items are in place and most are priced. It is in the paper on Friday and Saturday, it is also to be listed online. Looks like it may rain. It could be an interesting weekend.

Spent the last 4 days cleaning, arranging and setting up the sale. Already tired of it and we are still in the pricing phase. Sale will run Friday – Sunday 8am – 3pm. We are still waiting on the legal form!
