Well we meet Liz at 1PM to see what finacual options are available. Chris and Kay agreed to be there with Clara and Susan. We will see what transpires in that meeting. We will also discuss the dog situation.

Went over to mom’s and talked to Clara, agreeing that we want to keep mom in her house. Mom appers to be doing better (is that the calm before the storm?) and still as clear and alert as we have ever seen her. She complains and gives her opinion regularly. Susan stated that the ir life woudl have been totally different if she would have always been like this. Found item five in a health policy that may help us with in home care. We are tryinh toget night care ligned up for her as she gets worse. For now people stopping in a few times a day is working fine. She will need night care and then 24 hour care. Wonder how she will react when we need to go home in a week. :((

Got up today and the back feels a little better. Sitting in the car driving is a little irritating and I am still a little stiff. Have Susan’s family finished other than her sisters. Getting through the rest in the next few day. Going by mom daily, have not made it there today, will spend the evening.

The nurse was here today and the update was not what we expected. Her life time frame guess is at about two weeks, much shorter time than the four months we were told before. Things are sad and grim. It will all be ok, it is just tough to go through it all again.

Well the back is still a little outta whack. I need to walk like a Neanderthal, but at least it is fine for the most part. Hope it is back to normal by the end of the. [-O<
