The temp last night only got down to 23 so it was not as cold. Although I foolishly brought the banana and lemon trees outside yesterday to water them. Needless to say I forgot about them until 4AM and as you guessed., they may have froze. I do know at this time that the leaves are dead but that does not necessary mean the plant is dead. We will know in a few weeks or in spring. On a good note. The seeds have started germinating. Two varieties of peas and a variety of beets have poked through the soil. We may have veggies this year!

Well it did get cold, but not as cold as it was suppose to get. It was down to 17 instead of the 12 expected. Around 10 AM I thought I heard water running and when I investigated I found a broken pipe. On the bright side it was a secondary line off the main with its own shutoff. Not happy that 5000 gallons flowed, but it could have been more. #:-S
At least we have it taken care of already and can get on with our weekend. I will fix it when the temps rise before we need it. I should have turned it off but forgot about it.

Well just spent some time on the test site. What! another Public Blog? Have some java functioning and look forward to incorporating some into this site.

I was talking with friends today and have no idea what I have done since back in October or November. I know I was reading and watched some TV, but did not play many games or work outside. Did I waste all that time? Time is one thing you can never get enough of. There is a limited supply and you can not get any back that is lost. I guess that maybe time brings people happiness. We all know that money helps in life, but does not bring happiness!
Let’s think about it.
There is not enough time to learn all we want to learn.
There is not enough time to savor all the different food in the world.
There is not enough time to indulge in the vast varieties of spirits produced.
There is not enough time to spend with our loved ones.
There is not enough time to travel.
There is not enough time to do the things we want to do.
There is never enough time to live our lives.
There is not enough time to …..
I think I will change the public blog to “There is not enough time….. ” :((
