Watching the sun come up in the morning is going to be even more delightful when we have the new house and I can watch it from my room or the patio.

The garden has been tilled, and today it was planted. I still need to put in irrigation though. We will be using the west side for the winter garden so we can continue to prepare the east end for the Summer garden. this may turn out to be backward as the west side has more shade that it should due to the building. We will learn. The second garden that goes in once the house is built will always be in the sun as it will be further from the buildings.

Went to Bastrop to see if they done, but they are not. They have had two setbacks but will be done by Sunday.

I called the bank and asked if they were going to also pay off the LOC at their bank since they have the the funds. They stated that they cash the insurance check, pay off the main loan, hold teh remaining balance for 15 days and then mail the remaining balance of the check in the mail. NOT direct deposit? What the hell is wrong with these people? OK back on track… then I take the balance and go pay off the LOC at their bank, that has kept incurring interest.

I know that this is probably the same at all banks, but it just is not right.

Sure am glad I have Fridays off, as it gives me time to call and get my running done.
