Worked on placing sandstone around the pond today. We had a few more fish di so I’m not sure, but think we are down to about 30.

Looked in the pond today and I was able to find 5 dead fish. This should leave us at 34 remaining live fish. Not a huge investment when you save the lives of feeder fish. Their destiny is in the stomach of others. They are commonly used to keep mosquitoes down in water troughs. At $0.16 a piece they are perfect for a outdoor pond where predators are likely going to raid the pond. 😆

Picked up the additional stone and gravel yesterday and today.

Looked in the pond tonight and saw a fish struggling. If we lose this one we will have had 2 die.
