Don't you just hate it when you forget something? OK it was more of a Mister calculation. I estimatedthe wall sf at about 3080sf Wichita is actually the stucco sf. I just got done calculating the sf room by room and it is more like 27520 sf. That is a big difference when calculating paint cost. Luckily this number is before subtracting the door and window sf.
I also did a rough calculation for the roof change and was surprised to come up with about $7.40 per sf on that. It is amazing how fast the cost creep is when adding the stuff up.
Anyway, we will know more accurately the cost next week after Jeff looks it over.

I finally got a Geothermal quote. It came in less than expected and appears to have put us back into our budget. I am thrilled. So at this point we do not need to sell Bastrop. Hope to have it stay that way.
So happy to get some good news.

Talked with the bank today and it sure was interesting. Logical and eye opening, but interesting. I contacted Green Oaks the builder and he said he is still in. At leastwe are still a go 🙂

I faxed in the application for homestead exemption for the 4th time. I sure hope everything is in the packet this time. I sent this in the first time in October of 2011. Unfortunately they did not inform me that there were other things they wanted me to send in with it. We just did our drivers licenses the first week of June so that was the last thing I had to acquire.

I spent an hour in the shop shrink wrapping my parents belongings to aid them in standing in the cardboard boxes a few more months. Some of the stacks are kinda leaning and needed this extra support. I think they will be fine until new years. I should be able to put then in the new house by then!

It was a normal day.
I will call bank tomorrow to see what they need an if it can be faxed.
Still waiting on contract and hoping we will have the numbers add up for us.
