Hot
I know it s Texas and it gets hot, but it must really suck if you have no AC at all. We have the small window unit in this attic and it still reached 86 with us here and the thing running. We normally turn it up to 50 before work and understand the 84 then, but this is trully sucky!!! I see it has made it down to 85, wow 85. I hope it can get it down around 75-78 in a few hours so I can go to bed and actually sleep. With it this hot there will be no sleeping, I am almost sure of it. Work may be tough tomorrow.
Horses
Was out checking on the gate lights when the dog started barking. I realized that a truck was going slow. Then I noticed horses in front of the truck. A police car was close behind. We have no idea who the horses belong to so we put them in the pasture until they find out who owns them.
Completed
I just put the gate wheel on so the gate is easier to open and close. It is functional with a lot less effort. I now proclaim it to be completed.
Forget
Don't you just hate it when you forget something? OK it was more of a Mister calculation. I estimatedthe wall sf at about 3080sf Wichita is actually the stucco sf. I just got done calculating the sf room by room and it is more like 27520 sf. That is a big difference when calculating paint cost. Luckily this number is before subtracting the door and window sf.
I also did a rough calculation for the roof change and was surprised to come up with about $7.40 per sf on that. It is amazing how fast the cost creep is when adding the stuff up.
Anyway, we will know more accurately the cost next week after Jeff looks it over.
