OK, here is the house timeline.
keep in mind that this is the worst case. I think.

Bank status.
The appraisal will be 2-3 weeks.
The title will be 2-3 weeks.

Building status.
Excavation 2 weeks
Foundation 2 weeks
Wall erection 2 week)s
Interior wall erection 2 weeks
Plumbing 2 weeks
Electrical 2weeks
Doors n windows 1 week
Roof n gutters 2 weeks
Drywall 3 weeks
Exterior 2 weeks
Cabinets and floor 2 weeks

Not sure what it adds up to, but it should be no later than May 1st.

Much longer than we thought! Partly because we can not get in until it is completely completed.

We signed the contract with the builder yesterday. I also was able to get the contract and building plan off to the finance company Capital Farm Credit.
At least we finally made it to the next step.
The next milestone is a green light to start building.
Realistic time line from excavation to move in is 4-6 months. This is a little longer than the 3 months we planned, but it is due to a financing stipulation. It will be complete by the builder before we move in and the builder with a crew is a lot faster than I will be by myself.

Just want to mention that the power was strung from line poles to our pole and the can is now in place. Just need the house to connect it to. 😉
