Drank over a bottle ,16oz , of water today by mouth. My neck does hurt so the water by mouth may be causing it.
Go figure, how does that help speed the healing. Lol

Life as I progressed once diagnosed with Cancer.
Burn
The outside burn is looking much better. Have a sore throat, but think it is separate to treatment as I was feeling better than this for a few weeks.
Muscle
Hope to get the lost muscle back. 🙁
Eating
I ate a potato chip, it was very dry as saliva did not participate ! Also ate some fruit no saliva and weird tsste. Grrrr. Can do it, but it will suck!

This week I have decreased my meds, actually added a few pounds 2 or 3, been able to swallow although not eating or drinking, able to drink very small amounts not enough to account for drinking.

Dr appt yesterday . She stated I was doing good and was on track.
I was concerned as I am not as far as I think I should be. She said I was doing good and keep it up. Retraining the esophagus is a slow process and takes time. Was amazed I put on weight and state it helps in the process.
Once I can drink normally I will go back to work. I do not want to pull out the feeding tube in a meeting to take a drink. 🙂
Next appt with her is 1 month and scan will be in 2 months.
