Just cut around the house pond. The grass and weeds were getting to the point I couldn’t see the water. Since the main pond is so low, I like to see the house fish pond from thr living room.

Came out the farm today and found another chicken, Roo, that has was killed and ate. We are now Down to Hoppy, Drizzle and Naked neck.

We are going to move them to the McDonald’s house today and hope that this helps save their lives.

Came out to the farm to check on the property and the chickens. We lost 2 more birds. Not sure to what, but the young laying hen only had its wings left. The rooster Waldo was dead with just a little breast missing.
We are down to Hoppy the last golden sex link from the batch of 4, a naked neck, a drizzle and the rooster Roo. They are from the crazy chicken lady in town.
All of them were born about 2019.

The 10 guineas and all thr other chickens have parished in one form or another. We were up to about 20 at the peak. It has been an interesting 7 year foul adventure.

We lost a chicken last night. It was Lox, she was dead just inside the gate. Not sure what she died of, but she was about 6.

It’s been a few busy days with high temperatures just below 100 degrees.

Thursday we brought Dad out to the farm. He cut some grass while Susan and I unloaded the wood from the dump trailer. They Dad and I went Back to GT. We stopped at Cobra Stone and picked up the limestone blocks. 1.66 tons. I unloaded the block by 650p.

Friday we headed into Roundrock for Mom treatment. When we came home I worked more on the backyard. I worked until about 8p.

Today I ran back to Cobra Stone and picked up 2 yards of gravel. I started working at 1030a and worked till 5p unloading the the gravel. I cleaned up the tool and headed out to the farm.

I arrived at the farm about 7p.
