I decided I will drain the spa tomorrow. I should have done it in December, but, oh well. I turned off the spa tonight to allow it to start cooling and will drain it tomorrow.

The day started off ok as I got up and took a early morning shower at 630a.

I then worked on the computer for awhile until it was decided thst we can go put the trash by the road for my sister.

All was going good and on schedule as I had imagined, but WHAM! Mom tripped and fell on the jagged concrete pad in the back yard. Her glasses gouged her forehead and it bled like a bloody nose. Other than that she was fine. I finished moving the items as she settled in the car. We then headed to the clinic for stitches, but nope it’s not allowed as CT scan is likely needed. We headed urgent care and got the same answer.

We had to go to the emergency room, REALLY? We arrived at 244p they did the CT scan and then the stitches in just over 2 hours.

We headed home arriving about 6p. I took care of the chickens, fed the dog and made supper. I gave a pair of my glasses to help her temporarily, but ate not close to her prescription.

We will talk about glasses and stuff tomorrow.

Glad she wasn’t seriously injured, she needs to slow down, not stop what she is doing, just do it slower. It will mean she gets less done, but that’s the way life is!

Another pet added to the pet cemetery. RIP

Pepper has some blossoms in the garage. Probably won’t get pollinated.

Went in and was finger printed for the temp job at TPWD. Grabbed some food from the store and came home.
