Today started out normal, but quickly took a right turn. A minute or two after 8am, the time I’m scheduled to begin my work day, my boss moves our afternoon meeting to 8am. Of course I accept the meeting and jump on the call. He asks how long I’ve been there and about the plans for the virtual ISO. He then recommends that I setup a meeting with the executive director and I resond with an affirmative answer and we discuss the posting of ghe ISO positions followed by ending the meeting.
I work on setting up the meeting to sign my retirement paperwork with the notary for tomorrow and try to get to work. I switch gears and contact the executive director’s secretary to check on an appointment with the director. We end up with a 115p call to me.

I get back to my meetings and work. 115p arrives and ghe call comes in.

He commends me on a great work, keeper with everything and I thank him. He then asks as my boos did, would I consider staying. I explain that I’m leaving for personal reasons and explain my point and that this is a solid decision. He just as my boss express that they respect and understand the decision and they would do the same if in my position.

It was nice to have the request, but I believe that this is the correct decision at this time and at this point in my life.
