Spent an hour or two with Baxter off leash doing some yard training. We are working to get him not to venture over to Minolias or the chicken coop.

Well, today is a big day. If everything goes as expected we will no longer own the 40 acres in Cato after today.

This will be the first property we ha e sold that has been a profit.

A bigger point is that this will allow me to retire in August of 2020. So on September 1 of 2020 I would be retired.

Out up the burn pile yesterday. Started at 9am and completed with a light soil cover about 1230pm. Still cooking at 1215 pm today. Would ha e made a perfect pig pit. Lol

The parts for the heat pump came in last week. I installed the correct thermostat, tested it and it is running long correctly. It has been running as an electric heater for years.

Let’s see if this makes any difference in th he monthly electric bill for the shop.

Christmas started off at dump to marsh conversion project. Next we drove 21 miles down the beach on the sand.
We ended up at the Padre Island National Seashore.
We closed out the day with a sunset at the Rockport beach. Same pla e we walked last night. It’s a few minutes from our hotel.
