And another weekend has dissapeared. Not much completed and the time seems to pass so much quicker. I did get Minolia’s light bulb changed, helped mom on Carrie’s finances, pulled the old coop out of the enclosed cage, moved the chicken coop in the enclosed cage, covered some attic insulation with plastic and relaxed on a hammock reading for 1/2 an hour. I also read for about 2 more hours over the weekend.

Really didn’t think we would lose 3 birds in a weekend.

2 chicken hens and 1 guinea hen still surviving from 10 guineas purchased 5 keets born and 4 chickens purchased

Not thrilled with the stats!

Not sure what happened, but a guinea died today. Found it on the front patio.

We lost 2 chickens to predators today. May have been a hawk, dad saw a bird eating on it. Two chicken and two guineas left.

The circle of life is frustrating!

Glad the week is almost over. I really need to find a way to get my head back in to the job at work. I’m fulfilling what I need to, but but not making forward progress.
