Dad just texted me to let us know another keet hatched today. That’s s total of 5 so far.

Left the farm s out 9am. Arrived in town at 1025 and headed out to take care of the front yard. I finished at 1230 before the heat got too bad.

Up early again today. Had to get going on the room for Magnolia. Worked about 12 hours. Some dismantling and thinking had to go into this one.

It is about 1/3 of the way completed. Still have insulation and inner walls to go. There is also the ceiling that needs to go in.

Dad just said there was another egg today. It went in the incubator.

Up early on Saturday to pickup some keet supplies. There are 4 of them and they need a temp brooding area then they will go in the dog create lkeep the others did. We all hauled stuff upstairs to make room. Once the garage was cleaned out enough for the project, we then setup the keet area in the pool.

The are collected and put in the incubator after the 23 to 28 days they hatch and go in the brooding area. After about two to three weeks they will be transferred out to the create.

After a two to three more weeks, until they have all their feathers, they will be put in the big Guinea cage.

That is the plan, but it may change if needed an adjustment.
