Well here is a recap of the weekend.
Friday we took the toll road to the farm and it save 10 minutes as traffic was light. My VR goggles arrived and I worked with them.
Saturday did not go at all as planned. No real work on anything that was planned. No shopping as planned either.
It was accepted that the keet eggs were a fail. At about 11 we decided to go pick up some keets. We went to a place “birds and bees” just outside Rockdale. We picked up 10 keets. 6 brown, 3 grey and 1 white. When we arrived home, it was realized that the pool setup would not work.
We grabbed one of the old dog crates and released them in the cage. LOL. The bars of the create were a little too far a part and three snuck out before we were able to wrap the create in cardboard. Susan and I ran to Taylor to get some chicken wire.
I unstalled some outside lights in the area outside for Baxters pen.
Then we replaced the cardboard with the wire and then tacked the loose spots with additional wire. After quick movie we headed to bed.
Baxter continued to have problems and again we did not get much sleep.
Sunday we created a process to clean the keet cage without removing them. We followed the process and it worked pretty good. It entails taking out the heater and then sliding the crate pan out with the cage closed.
After cleaning the cage we wrapped the hottub to protection till it is installed in September. A layer of cardboard, then a layer of plastic covered by a tarp. This was secured by a strap and some rope.
Then before we left I made time to go fix Minolia’s ceiling light. I adjusted her Account vent and then went back to the main house.
We finally left at about noon. After arriving home we put the stuff away.
I cleaned up the avacado seeded and saw all three started to root. And then watched a quick movie
I emptied the dish washer and started the grill. Made brats, 2 potatoes and an onion.
Now it is 530 and i will try to relax before heading into work tomorrow.
