I was able to spend 3 hours of my time to get the site backup.
This all could have been avoided if the sales rep would have helped me through the differences between the old and new accounts when helping me identify a cheaper solution. All of the items was in violation of were allowed on the previous plan that I was using for 9 years. The first red flag i should have realized was when all the email went to shit and i had to explain that debacle to the users. Unfortunately I had already purchased another 10 years and Go Daddy has a strict no refund procedure, that I am now aware of.
Neverthe less I will use other providers to fulfill the obligations of the various projects. We will see how this all pans out. I plan to use the services I paid for and follow the rules exact!
UNFORTUNATELY THEY DO NOT HAVE ALL THE RULE POSTED AND YOU WILL BE INFORMED OF THEM AS YOU GO ALONG!!!!
This is the time consuming waste of time. Many hours have been put in creating processes and then, BAM that is not allowed.
Again, much of this may have been avoided if i read the current reviews online as the Go Daddy services have changed quite a bit over the last 10 year and it appears that it may not have been for the better.
