It’s been hellofa last few days.  

Saturday we dug the trench, ok 90% of the trench before we ran out of light.  

Sunday we finished the trench ends a started laying the almost 500 foot of waterline.  

We started on attaching the couplings when we realized the Poly pipe sizes were not a match to the PVC.  The poly pipe has a OD 2 1/8 and an ID 1 5/8.  

Monday morning I found the 1 inch to 3/4 coupling OD fit the ID of the poly.  At anout noon it was realized the walls are yoo smooth as the fitting came out. 

By 3pm we found a barbed 1 1/2 fit and started applying them.  The first one leaked so we cut it off and used PVC solvent and blue. We finished at 7pm and will test in the morning.  

3 days of 8a to 7p has been tougher than I thought it would be.  

We received a call that the tub is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.  

WTF?  Really?

It arrived at the shipping company CRST back on January 8th 2018.  I never heard a peep and started calling for a status on the 12th or 19th of January.  In February I called as I still did not hear from anyone and we decided to cancel the order.   From that point on I have been working to get a refund.   Tomorrow makes two months of the tub just sitting there when a proactive company could have done one of many options.  

They could have: 

Rented a truck from another company

Hired another company to do the move

Worked with me when I asked about driving to Dallas and picking it up.  

They really need to do a better job at their job!  Now they can send it back to PA or give me a butload of savings for the hassle! 

I am rather sure are will not be a savings and the tub will be going back to Pennsylvania.
