hole

Well, I took the bandages off for the first time and cleaned it up. It only took about two hours.  It took this long because I dripped warm water on the blood-soaked bandage as I was terrified of it getting stuck and hurting as I took it off. They had 10 pieces of tape I had to take off first and that took about sn hour as it was stuck to hair when taped.

OK.  I have some unfortunate discomfort where the tube was removed, but think that is to be expected.  I still can’t believe there was no pain killers or numbing available!   I did ask for some during the first removal attempt. It was actually just a yank it out process.  I guess it did spray a bit and must have been gross. I did not watch, as I just wanted it over with.
Glad it is over.  Now to keep this clean until it is healed.

I just had a doctor appointment to have the tube removed. They pulled it out! I am home resting now. 😀
Unfortunately I passed out while out processing.  Glad Susan was there.  She said my eyes rolled back in my head and I started twitching.    Hmm interesting.  I was then in a room to recover and I started to black out again, but had staff there watching me.
All is good.  I’m at home on the recliner resting.
