Sorry Sir. I sent the estimate right after the first message this morning, but I missed on of the T’s in the email address.

The instrument cluster needs to be replaced to fix both the gauges that are not working. $600.00. I don’t have the exact cause of the check engine light yet. It has faults for both the mass airflow sensor and the throttle body. We are going to clean both and re-test. I’ll have that done a little later today. There is an exhaust bolt that is broken. To replace that is $310. There is a possibility that it could break more while removing it though. If that happens then the heads would have to come off. That’s why there are head gaskets on the estimate. So if we have to remove the heads the total would end up being $1730.00. To replace the rear bumper is $680.00. Lastly the A/C belt is cracked $$105.00 That is it for repairs that are needed. We weren’t sure if any of the fluids have ever been changed though. Like the transmission or rear differential or anything. Let me know if you’d also like a quote for services.

How is it going?  Any progress?    If it takes this long for a quote, will service time for the work to be accomplished be just as slow?

Good morning Sir. I just wanted to touch base and let you know I’m working on the estimate right now. Give me just a few minuets and I’ll have it to you.
