Solstice – information

Winter solstice. The day of the solstice is either the longest day of the year (in summer) or the shortest day of the year (in winter) for any place outside of the tropics. A solstice is an astronomical event that occurs twice each year as the Sun reaches its highest or lowest excursion relative to the celestial equator on the celestial sphere. The solstices, together with the equinoxes, are connected with the seasons. In many cultures the solstices mark either the beginning or the midpoint of winter and summer.

When we arrived home from shopping today, we noticed that there was out of his crate. As Susan put Baxter outside I looked at the crate to find… Baxter, houdini’d his way out of the crate. He was able to move the end secure anchors so that he could squeeze out through the top crack. He is a smart little shit!

Came out to the farm early this morning.  I left the house at 615a.  After loading parts we started on the shed at about 9a.  We finished and headed home about 530p.  Took a shower, grabbed some grub and started the laundry.  Finished the laundry at about 11p. Now a little reading and then some sleep.
