I tried to get I to the doctor today as my energy level has diminished quickly over the last few weeks. I spent the morning trying to find a new doctor. I found Dr David W. the doctor I first had when we moved to Texas. I was unable to get an appointmentfor this week and was told to go tto the ER to get checked out.
We left here at 1P and arrived at the ER at 2P. We filled out a form and were done with triage by 2:15P. We sat in the waiting area until 3:35. We were taken to a room where they took an exray of my chest. Then 3 Giles of blood were taken and the wait began. At 5:30 another vial of blood was taken. At 6:30 I was released and we paid the eestimated portion of what we owe. I thought it would be about $500 that we would end up paying. It was actually $650 and it stated it was an estimate. This did include the $150 ER fee, so it was about $500.
I was told it was good that I came in. I was instructed to take an aspirin daily, I actually knew that, and to call in and schedule the heart stress tomorrow.
We arrived home at about 7:30P. We will try and get some sleep tonight, as last night was almost sleepless.
I will call and schedule the test tomorrow.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. 🙁 All things happen for a reason and this had been expected. It is just a little different when it becomes reality.
