I Called to see if the concrete would be delivered tomorrow and he said it wohld be today. SHIT in the heat. He said at 3p. That is like the worst time of the day.
Well it happened! We all were exhausted before the job was complete. It did not all go as planned, but it is done. It needs additional work to make it pretty, but we are all alive and learned our lesson.
The other flatwork will be done by a crew! Time to start saving!

Nuquil
Well, yesterday the throat got too bad and I had to pickup some nyquil. Looks like I'm back on the quil for awhile. It does help me sleep. 😉
Busy
Yesterday was quite busy. Had to get the APM SOW responses done by 8a this morning. They were done by 6p last night. Worked on the BIS Risk assessment and few other thing other than normal people managing stuff.
Today I had a downtown meeting, oh how I hate them. It takes another 40 minutes to get to an appointment due to traffic. Of course I call in whenever possible. There was another meeting this morning as well as other meetings and tasks i am tryingto get done.
Nonetheless the less, I must admit the short commute has made a difference with the week. That is what the entire Austin house was supposed to do and as long as makes a differenceit is worth it. At least for a piece of mind or should I say to keep my mind and health! We will see how things go. I need to wwork again this Friday for APM again. I hope that changes. I also forgot to order the cement and will try again tomorrow for a saturday pour.
What do you expect i had to make up for missed entries. LOL
Movie
Well, instead of finishing the last pocket door frame I watched a movie with the folks. It was rather good. It wasn't one of those happy ending things were everything works out unrealisticly. People died as probably would have and heartache happened. The final narration told the last part of the story and was just straight forward. It was diferent but good.
Framing
Today dad and i worked on framing the remaining interior pocket doors. We should have all of them completed before the end of the day.
