We went to a BBQ at the neighbors house. It was the house of Wes and Janine. The have been there for about two years and have been making progress on their farm. I am envious of them, but not jealous. They are doing a terrific job at what we plan to do. They have chickens, Turkeys, pigs, horses and goats. They have also put in trees to instead of crops to retain their Again exemption on their land.
We need to get moving on it now that we know it is possible! 🙂

More tax drama. A letter arrived from the IRS about old unpaid taxed of 2012 that we paid in 2014. The payment was for about 3000 dollars. Well with them questioning it again I had to track it down. It turns out it should have only been just under 1500 dollars. Hmm and the plot thickens.
We do need to write up a letter telling them why it happened. And prove it was not international. Shit, don't we all make mistakes? Didn't they make a mistake of over charging me on taxes still due?
We will see how this turns out.

Seriously, I hate this shit! We try do what's legal, but are only human!
