Here I was all excited that I did the taxes this year and filed electronically. I watched the status on the site and checked the account on the day it was to be deposited. No money! WHAT! Today I checked twice and nothing! I went back and was able to verify which account the money was to be deposited. Well, needless to say, it never will. I used the routing number of one bank and the savings account number for a different bank. I called the bank it was to be sent to and thankfully there is no account with that number. This makes the process easier as the money will go back to the IRS. At some point the will cut a check and mail it to us.
