Cleanup

I took the day to do some more cleanup in preparation for the arrival of more house parts.
I rearranged the old garage, cleaned up the last of the old mixed mess left by the previous owner and the proceeded to the yard. Out there, I cut down a tree although I would have kept it if it was not growing into the side of the garage. Then I cut down a lot of the flowering mustard to reduce seed growth. As long as I was at it I popped the tops off the thistles since they do not seem to be that deep yet.
It may notbhave taken as long as I thought it was going to, but I am sore from it due to lack of exercise.

Ready

As the counter tops have been discontinued we spent they day driving around Austin looking at sheets of granite. Susan identified one for the kitchen called butterfly. It has much more character than the green quartz.

The house project has the steel, the forming and the inspection completed. This means that we ate ready to pour. Our pour date is Wednesday. Looks like I will be taking off on Wednesday.
