hot

Not sure I would call it hot, but definitely rather warm. The inside temps are 80 in the bedroom, 85 in the livingroom, and 90 in the kitchen. We sure do look forward to being in the new house, even if it isn’t for a few more months.

productive

I must say it has been quite a long time since I have felt productive. I left the house a 7am to shop so I would not need to deal with others in the store. I got homeabout 9am. As usual a hundred dollars lighter.:)

I then proceeded to go out at 10am and work on the yard. I started to wack the weeds, but of course that thing needs replacing! I stopped waisting my time and went and started the riding mower. I cut around the house for Minolia. I cut her drive. Then I cut our drive to see how it will look. I cut around the so called garden and along the pasture fence. I zipped around till the fuel ran out and pushed it in the garage after cleaning vituperation as always.

I then pulled the sunflower stalks and came in.

It was 1:30 pm and the temp had climbed above 90. Glad I came in when i did since I am nit accustom to this anymore.

In the house it is about 80 so it takes awhile to cool down. Even after a shower. 🙂

water leak

Went out to look at the dwindling ponds and they are drying up! On the way o the new pond Susan noticed a lot of water in Minolia’s driveway. I went to the meter to watch the dial. I met art there and we had a discussion. O lucky me! Any way as I arrived back at the house I was informed that the water was left on. OK. Good it was not a leak. It happens. And that is why I hate a soaker hose. It is easily left on cause you are not actually watching it line you do when holding a sprayer.
OK back to the ponds AK tanks.
Rather low. I was able to see the fish beds so I know that they are doing what they are suppose to do.
The new pond is probably deeper but it is smaller at this point. They may both have about the same amount of water in them. Nevertheless I want them to stay functional till we get some rain.
