I must say it is now official! The building process may nit have started, but the project has finally begun!
We looked outside and noticed that the power pole for the house has been put inplace. The wires are not strung, but I feel that we finally have an official start!

Movies
Day was a normal work day. Tonight I watched a few movies even though they were from 1995. I tend not to watch movies that far back as the quality of the delivery and acting usually upsets me. Nonetheless I watched two and they were tolerable.
Off work tomorrow and then work Thursday and Friday. Look forward to Saturday.
Air up
We left for work and aas we drove down the road I realized that I never turned up the air up to 80. I must say it worked most of the day, butit was only 80 when we got home. We sure are looking forward to starting on the house so all these little adjustments in life can go away and we can live a normal life.
cattle
We noticed the cattle are back. There are only 4 adults and a young one. He must have sold off most of his herd. Hope he was able to make some money since cattle prices are up as herds are being replenished.
Mesquite
I took down what I believe to be the last large batch of mesquite trees. I see why people are slow movers here. The heat makes you slow down and once it is your normal pace that is all you have. I need to learn to better pace myself and drinking more water would help also. Anyway the hatchet and axe method is slow and seems to be more strenuous then the power tools. Once I am organized and can get at all my tools faster I will definitely use power. Right now it takes an hour to dig them out and load them then an hour to out them away. Just cooling down now. I already took a cool shower and that helped, but the 80 degree temp in the house slows the cooling process. 🙂
