I took off for the soil sample to be taken. It as already done. Susan called at 5:30AM to tell me she had a flat tire. Then that the repair guy showed up at 6:30AM. Then that she was t work at 7 or so. The contacts are dry already so another day of uncertainty. ETO Doors called about the doors and he will try to come up with something.
I updated the camera security system so hopefully it is more stable.
Back to finding windows.
Well they arrived a little after 9 AM and just left. The guys told me that they had water in the soil at 16 feet. I am not sure that is good , but I am guessing not. I guess all we do now is wait to see the report and then get the foundation designer.
Well the first day with the contacts I was able to wear them for about 3 hours and then I had a headache so i took them out. That was on Friday. Saturday I wore them for about 8 hours and everything seemed fine. Today I was able to wear them for about 4 hours and they became unbearable so I took them out. I wonder if I will be able to sleep with them cone Thursday? At thispoint it does notlook promising.
The call went in to the soil engineer and it is scheduled for Monday the 27th.
I sent in a request for a quote on the doors last night and now I am looking for windows.
Plumbing, electric and HVAC appear to in the plan so i may Beanie to move forward on that also.
I have notheard back from the septic guy with his quote and I have not called the Geo heat pump company yet.
All in all I feel we are moving forward.
So what has been done you may ask.
The summer garden is ready, thanks to all the help Susan put in today.
Minolia will also soon have grass and her yard is now level.
The grass around the house has been cut to reduce bugs and things.
My contacts, that I picked up yesterday are doing great. I can't wait till Thursday when I get to sleep in them. I have had the. In since around 9 AM and they are a little dry, but still tolerable.
I still need to send in the door request for a quote on them.
We will do some shopping tomorrow and that will wrap up the weekend.
Weekends are too short. Even if they are 2, 3 or 4 days long!
