The day was OK, but I do not feel I got much done. I scheduled some future work fork this week and the first week in January. That about sums it up.

Thursday was a day at work. Rather normal and non eventful. Yesterday we drove to Elgin and then headed to Wimberly to check out the quad lock concrete system. It looks good and we are going to go with it. Last night we continued to look for the right plan for a house. I think we are getting closer. Today I worked in the yard. The tanks decreased their water levels a little, but that was expected. I burned the trash today and raked up some trash around the garage. We walked to the tanks and found water in the third natural tank. It need to be cleaned out a little, but appears that it will be functional. That about sums it up.

The leak has been fixed and the mess cleaned up. It needs to be put back in place this weekend. I need to pickup insulation and drywall. Looks like I have plans for this weekend

The kitchen sink started leaking Monday night ans I put a pail under it so it could wait till the weekend. Last night the bathroom started leaking down stairs so I need to take care of it. I am taking off today to fix the bath, kitchen and the toilet.

So what a day! Up early and went to work. I guess that is not really anything new. Made little progress on the calls or projects. I would like to say it was a waste of time to even go in, but I think I may have accomplished something. Although I have no idea what it was! Got home and ate a little food. I was then informed the ceiling was leaking water. Oh no! What the hell! Is it the drain or a water line? Why tonight and not as the weekend starts? I went down and looked at the situation. After a little testing, it appears that the ceiling needs to come out. I punctured a few holes in the drywall and it ran like a faucet on low. Damn! It looks like a wager line. I went and turned off the water. I ripped off the drywall and pulled the insulation. There are water and drain pipes there. I turned the water back on and……. No water. Thank goodness. It appears to be the drain. OK, so no shower tomorrow! Kinda sucks, but beats more of a mess. I need to. Cut some floor out to get at the drain pipe connection. Looks like I have more of the project tomorrow. I cleaned up so the bath is usable and will get back at it tomorrow night.

All in all it could have been worse…. the job is not done with yet so I wonder what the end result will be.

And I thought I was tired at work today!!
