Part 2 at home

After we got home the work continued.
We pulled the plants from the house and garage as the temps are to be between 50 and 70 the rest of the week. Hell yea! that is what I am talking about! This is one of the main reasons to live here.
We watered the plants and then used the manual lawn more to cut the back grass. I actually like the mower as long as the grass is not too long it should be great.
We put the compost of last year in the bed and get two of the containers ready for the farm.
Trimmed up some of the dead plants preparing for spring. Then I came in the house.
In between the yard work a made a meatloaf and threw it in the oven. I put a shoulder roast in a large skillet (large pan with 90 degree sides) with veggies and set them a cooking. When I came in the house the food was ready to cool and put away. After pulling everything from the skillet I added a cu of water to the drippings and threw in a cup of rice. It is time to go put it away now. 🙂
Like I said, it was a great weekend. Oh, we left one of the cars there and drove home together as I need to work on Friday and can not go there early anyway.
Next weekend we burn and install our entry door. I am looking forward to that.

Done and them some.

Well, it was a pretty productive weekend. I went to the farm on Friday and started working.
I was able to get quite a few things done there over the weekend.
Security cameras are now viewable on the computer. I think Minolia really likes them.
I went through the boxes Minolia has in storage and brought down all the boxes that did not have holiday wrote on them. She was able to look at them and send them back if they belonged up there.
Saturday
Stripped all the old grout caulking from the tub and then resealed it with silicone.
I also shortened the tub faucet pipe so it seals against the wall instead of an inch or two away from the wall. Thank goodness for plastic pipes I was able to cut it off and re-thread it. 🙂
I was able to take some time off to talk with Steve and get little class on cows. Let’s call it cow care and heard management 100. 3:-O
Sunday (today)
I installed an 8 foot shelf above her computer desk.
I put more weather stripping on the bottom of the entry door.
We then wrapped up and headed home about noon.
