It was nice to work at home and not start until 9 AM. I thought it would be quick and I could have the day off. Well it did not go as quick as I thought, but I do believe I came up with a functional solution. It was actually the most simple. If we can use it things will be great. The entire dilemma is using the MSI as an uninstaller instead of an installer. It seem to choke and fail on the uninstall causing the install to fail. I can make it work with batch files VBS and EXE, when it comes to the MSI it is a no go. Well after another 14 hour day, that flew past, I sent a request for more testing so we can get it deployed. Now for a little surfing and talking on the phone.

I was able to put in only 12 hours today and it looks like we might made it.

Worked another long day. OK so it did not seem like 14 hours.

I thought I broke this bad habit!!! I worked on work at home again. Almost the entire night, like 5 hours. I must stop and go to bed so I can work at the office in the morning. 5:30 sure comes early 🙁

I took time today to create the Ubuntu bootable USB. It is on a 2 gig thumb be it should be transferable or I will create it on a larger thumb. It allows for access to the same files and desktop at any computer I use. All I need to do is boot to USB and I am ready to go. This is not anything new as it has been done by many people for quite some time. It is new to me as I have been a windows geek for so many years. I am looking forward to experimenting and see where it takes me. We watch a recorded show and I think I will turn in early as not to start something I will not be able to finish.
