We went to a large rummage sale( what a waste of time). Then stopped at home
and picked up the camera. Then headed downtown. Wandered around at the
2009 Vet festivities / car show.

I was up and got ready for work as normal. Went out to the car(planned on
using Susan’s so I could fill up her tank) and climbed in. It felt kind of
damp. I knew it had rained yesterday but it did not seem normal. Then it
hit me. I went to the store on Saturday morning and had the sunroof open
along with the back side windows. Sure enough, in the dark I felt the wet
seat. I fumbled for the light and saw it. Droplets dangling from the
sunroof opening. I had to laugh there was nothing more I could do. I put
plastic on the seat for my car pool person and drove to work. The drive
seemed a bit longer due to the wet pants. It was not until about 10:30 AM
that my pants finally did dry. I paid the fines for violation and they were
only $135 that was $170 off the safety and $200 off the speeding. I have
until the end of January to complete the DDC. I was able to open up the car
at about 11 AM to let it start drying. The seats were dry by 4:30 when I
left work. The rest of the day a normal uneventful (boring) day.

While working around the pond today I saw (almost stepped on) another Coral
Snake. I went to get the camera and it was gone before I got back. I wound
two holes going under the falls area and wonder if it took up residence
there? Well I moved the stone and filled the holes, I hope it can still get
out somewhere. I don’t mind the snake just don’t want it so close to the
house.

I am feeling better today. The throat is not raw and I have more energy.
Yes another 3 day weekend wasted. But at least I am feeling better. 🙂

I think I might be getting ill. Woke up today with a sore throat and now my
nose is starting to run causing sniffles. I hope it does not get to bad. 😉
