Today I finally went out and move the riding lawn mower into the shop.First I put on a sweatshirt and a cheesecloth to cover my head except for my face. Then once I knew there were no yellow jackets around I switched to my blue shirt and hat.
Unfortunately it didn’t start cuz it’s been almost a week, so I had to push it backwards, up the hill, up the step and into the shop.
I must say at 85° and about 80% humidity this tough work. At least it’s done and just about ready to go to town.

Today I went out extremely covered and retrieved my hearing protection headset. I was also extremely cautious in the yellow jacket area. Tonight the itchiness is almost gone and only a little swelling remains.
I still need to retrieve the riding lawnmower.

Coming along, but still itch.

Cut the grass yesterday and I quit when I disturbed a wasp nest. As I tried escaping I was stung about 10 times. Doing ok today, although the sting locations are itchy.

Took the enclosed truck over and looked for the nest and didn’t fi e anything. Of course I didn’t get out of the vehicle. Lol.

I noticed a wasp nest being built in the door mirror so I moved the truck hopping they can’t find it.

Saw a snake and passion flowers while checking out the road down to the NW portion of the property.
